Privacy-Preserving Analysis of Distributed Medical Databases

Abstract (Deutsch)

Sharing medical information is crucial for improving healthcare and medical research. However, for privacy|(and legislative) reasons, transfer of medical data across institutions is and will remain restricted. In this|project, we will develop a novel architecture that enables a given medical entity to request a computation over medical information (including genomic and phenotypic data) from different peer institutions without compromising the data privacy of individuals.
