Antifogging coatings have recently been developed to mitigate problems followings changes in environmental conditions for a variety of applications. This research aims at study a tailor-made coating deposition process, the layer by layer (LbL) assembly technique, to impart a super-hydrophilic behavior. A super-hydrophilic surface allows the water to spread rather than remaining as light scattering droplets, delivering antifogging features to any glass substrate.
