The goal of the present project is to develop an industrial wet coating process to print electrically conductive electrodes on silicone (PDMS) surfaces which are highly compliant and stretchable. By means of industrial printer systems high printing clock speed can be achieved for large production rates of stacked Dielectric Elastomer (DE) transducers in continuous mode with constant deposition quality on the future fabrication facility at CTSystems.
