Short description (English)

1. The legal Framework (including applicable international law) relevant in each of these countries to the prosecution/investigation/judgment of international crimes, including as regard arrest, detention and transfer of suspects with particular focus on the question of jurisdictional competence over such cases
2. An analysis ot the cahllenges, problems and difficulties (legal, jurisdictional, evidential, practical) that stand in the way of ensuring an effective and non-disruptive system of cooperation between the three counties an da coherent approach in regard to the effective prosecution of these crimes
3. Possible solutions and approaches (legal and practical) to clarifying national jurisdictional competences for war crimes and help ensure the effective investigation, presecution and judgement of such crimes and reduce the risk of diplomatic friction arising from this.
