Description succincte (Anglais)	The goal of this project is to support efforts to strengthen the promotion and protection of the rights of peasants, and in particular to provide expert support to the negotiations taking place at the Human Rights Council to elaborate a United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas. The Geneva Academy has been at the origin of this process. In 2016, the Academy proposes to continue to provide legal analysis and organize an expert seminar on peasants' right to land and other natural resources with relevant stakeholders.
Objectifs du projet (Allemand)	Das Ziel dieses Projektes ist es die Bemühungen zum Schutz und der Förderung der Rechte von Bauern und anderer im ländlichen Raum arbeitender Personen voranzutreiben. Aus diesem Grund wird die Geneva Academy die Verhandlungen zur UNO-Deklaration über die Rechte von Bauern und anderer im ländlichen Raum arbeitender Personen im Menschenrechtsrat mit Experten unterstützen und daran arbeiten, dass die Deklaration verabschiedet wird und somit die Rechte anerkannt werden.
