|
Verschiedene Materialien und Korrosionsschutzsysteme von korrosionsgefährdete BSA-Komponenten in Strassentunnel werden diskutiert. Anhand von Schadensfällen, Erfahrungen, Literaturstudien und einer Umfrage wird der aktuelle Stand bzgl. Korrosionsschutz erfasst. Ein Fokus liegt auf der Korrosivität der Tunnelatmosphäre. Dabei wird insbesondere berücksichtigt, dass die Tunnelatmosphäre aufgrund von betrieblichen (z.B. Normalbetrieb, Tunnelreinigung, Ereignis), wie auch von örtlichen (z.B. Höhenlage, Taumitteleinsatz, Feuchtigkeit) und/oder verkehrstechnischen Gegebenheiten (z.B. DTV, LW-Anteil) sehr unterschiedlich sein kann. Die Materialien (insb. auch nichtrostende Materialien) und Korrosionsschutzsysteme (organische Systeme, Verzinkungen und Duplexsysteme) werden entsprechend dieser individuellen Belastungen bewertet und es werden Empfehlungen formuliert. Für die Bewertung werden unter anderem Schadensfälle herangezogen und analysiert. Darüber hinaus werden Themen wie Gesamtkosten, Verfügbarkeit, Verarbeitbarkeit, etc. in die Beurteilung mit einbezogen. Es werden Empfehlungen formuliert für die Wahl, Ausschreibung, Herstellung, Qualitätskontrolle und Wartung / Revision von Korrosionsschutzsystemen.

The work will consider and discuss about different materials and systems for protection of those operational safety related components prone to be endangered by corrosion in road tunnels. Based on damaging events, literature research, and a survey the current status regarding corrosion protection will be examined. In this process, an important aspect to be dealt with and assessed is the corrosivity of the tunnel environment. In particular it will be duly taken into account that the tunnel atmosphere may be very different owing to operational circumstances (e.g. normal operation, emergency operation, tunnel washing), or to local conditions (e.g. altitude, temperature, humidity), or to traffic conditions (e.g. average daily traffic, traffic split between cars and trucks). The materials, particularly the stainless ones, and the corrosion protection systems (organic coating systems, along with galvanization and Duplex systems) will be evaluated according to these individual charges; recommendations will be issued. The evaluation will adduce occurrences of accidents and analyze them. Moreover aspects like lifecycle costs, availability, workability, etc. will be integrated into the assessment. Recommendations regarding the choice, tendering, production, quality control and maintenance of corrosion protection systems will be given.

1) Darstellen der wichtigsten Aspekte bezüglich Materialwahl und Korrosionsschutz für korrosionsgefährdete BSA-Komponenten in Strassentunnels, 2) Literaturstudie, 3) Diskutieren der Anforderungen und „best practice“, 4) Hinweise zur Anwendbarkeit der weitverbreiteten SN EN ISO 12944 und anderen typischen Korrosionsschutznormen, 5) Charakterisieren der vorkommenden Korrosionssysteme (“Werkstoff plus Medium“), 6) Analysieren von Schadensfälle. Zuordnen der typischsten Mängel/Schäden pro Korrosionssysteme resp. pro Korrosionsschutzsystem, 7) Definieren von konkreten Empfehlungen betreffend folgenden Aspekten: Materialwahl und Korrosionsschutz, Konstruktion und Verarbeitung, Qualitätssicherung, Unterhalt und Wartung, 8) Erstellen von Textpassagen für Ausschreibungen bezüglich Vorgaben an die Materialwahl und den Korrosionsschutz, 9) Vorschlagen von Methoden / Prüfverfahren für Abnahme und Wartung, 10) Bereitstellen von Grundlagen für die Überarbeitung der SIA 179 für das Kap. „4.1 – Korrosionsschutz“.

1) Presentation of the most important aspects about protection against corrosion and material selection for safety relevant components endangered by corrosion in road tunnels, 2) Study of the references, 3) Critical analysis of the requirements and of the best practice, 4) Advise on the applicability of the generalized norm SN EN ISO 12944 and of other relevant norms about corrosion protection, 5) Characterization of the occurring corrosion scenarios: "material plus medium", 6) Analysis of damage occurrences. Classification of the most relevant flaws/damages in relation to the corrosion scenarios and to the corrosion protection measures, 7) Issue of recommendations addressing: material selection, protection against corrosion, design and processing, quality assurance, service and maintenance, 8) Text formulation for bid documents pertaining to the specification of the material selection and of the corrosion protection, 9) Proposals of methods and procedures for acceptance and maintenance, 10) Provide the foundations for the re-elaboration of the SIA norm 179, Chapter 4.1 - Protection against Corrosion.
