Girasole ist ein kantonales Pilotprojekt im Tessin, das als Teil der Nationalen Strategie zur Prävention nichtübertragbarer Krankheiten (NCD-Strategie) vom Bundesamt für Gesundheit (BAG) finanziell unterstützt wird.
Die vom BAG in Auftrag gegebene Evaluation untersucht die Umsetzung und die ersten Wirkungen des Pilotprojektes. Die Ergebnisse dienen dem Kanton Tessin, das Projekt zu optimieren. Für das BAG ist von Interesse, ob es Modellcharakter für eine nationale Verbreitung hat.
