Gerster Härterei AG is the Swiss leader for heat treatments. In order maintain its place on the market, Gerster|must constantly improve its service offers and propose innovations bringing added value for its customers. Heat|treated steels with lower friction coefficients are requested in a wide range of applications particularly in|mechanical engineering. The main goal of this project is to establish a reproducible manufacturing process for|a reliable product possessing both high wear resistance and low friction coefficient.
