Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
The objective is to use an optogenetic approach to study the therapeutic potential of allosteric modulation of glutamatergic transmission (mGluR4 & 7) in the amygdala for the treatment of anxiety disorders and substance abuse. We will explore this in animal models of posttraumatic stress disorder and reward/motivation. We aim to improve efficacy and specificity of allosteric glutamatergic modulators by assessing their effects on stimulation of specific pathways related to these therapeutic areas.
