The goal of this project is to develop a tool for offline validation of the performance of liquid handling instruments. The new measurement method shall be not affected by air bubbles and foam and characterized by very moderate measurement costs. The measurement method shall be capable of quantifying the dispensed volume in the range of 1-300 ul of up to 384 channels in parallel. The instrument comprises a novel sensor head that enables highest measurement sensitivity.
