The research consists in assessing the suitability of fiber optic sensors for dam monitoring. Gathering of information on in-situ behavior (aging, stability, ..) are more particularly sought.

La recherche consiste en l'investiguation de la suitabilité de capteurs fibre-optique à l'observation permanente des barrages. Il s'agit en particulier d'acquérir les observations relatives au comportement de tels capteurs à long terme (vieillissement, stabilité, ...) in-situ. Les capteurs sont implentés dans la partie surélevée du barrage de Luzzone, les mesures obteneus étant utilisées dans le cadre du projet de recherche 'Verformungen einer Staumauer unter hygrischen und thermischen Gradienten, untersucht am Beispiel der Staumauer Luzzone während der Arbeiten zur Erhöhung'.
