Development of a car-borne repeat-pass differential interferometric synthetic|aperture radar (SAR) system at L-band for ground displacement measurements
Abstract
(German)
A car-borne repeat-pass differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system at L-band frequency is developed. This novel SAR system allows for high-resolution monitoring of ground displacements over time - e.g., to better assess geohazards - at a higher cross-range spatial resolution and over longer periods of time compared to stationary real-aperture radar and quasi-stationary SAR systems due to 1) its longer synthetic aperture and 2) its longer wavelength.
