Abstract (German)

User authentication is commonly based on username-password combinations. Yet, passwords suffer from two|problems, viz. their vulnerability to dictionary attacks and the decreased usability due to heavy restrictions on|their composition. We propose a novel authentication method that is based on intelligent comparisons of|freehand sketches. In particular, we aim at developing a sketch-based authentication framework that can be|readily integrated into existing web applications.
