Expanding physical rehabilitation of neural pathologies with cognitive exercises - tools for evidence based effectiveness assessment

Abstract (German)

This project regards the GIGER MD® Locomotion System, currently used worldwide for physical therapy by patients affected by neural system diseases. The goal is to expand the physical rehabilitation with cognitive exercises. Those exercises will be recorded in a large, anonymous database that will permit to systematically assess their effectiveness. As the optimal exercise set is patient-dependent, we will issue personalized recommendations adapted to the case of each patient.
