Abstract

The development of connectivity-­on-­the-­move drives a demand for higher data throughput satellite|telecommunications (HTS Satcom). The latter require the use of high frequency electronic signals in Ku & Ka|band. Antennas able to operate in both bands currently don¿t exist on the market for connectivity on the move|applications (internet in airplanes, ships, trains and vehicles). This project will prototype, test and validate a|new generation of low-­cost aeronautical satellite antenna (user terminal front end) operating simultaneously in|Ku & Ka band.
