Local drug delivery is an important topic for innovative treatments of inner ear diseases, such as hearing loss,|because of increased efficacy and decreased side effects. We propose to use Apidel proprietary drug delivery|technologies to optimize local inner ear administration of an established otoprotective drug (dexamethasone)|and an innovative and otoactive anti NOX3 siRNA. The results are expected to open important market|segments for Apidel.
