Smart cardiovascular catheters integrating several types of sensors are becoming a mainstay of|interventional cardiology. A challenge is to assemble these complex catheters while keeping manufacturing|cost low, without accepting compromises on the performance and accuracy. The aim of this project is to|develop innovative methods for the packaging and new systems for the assembly of smart catheters to serve|the growing market of cardiovascular intervention devices.
