CNT-Sense targets a compact sensor for the detection of airborne carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in workplaces.|The sensor is based on Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) and comprises a wearable air|sampling module, specifically designed disposable SERS-active filters, and an optical reader for measuring|the unique Raman response of captured CNTs. In contrast to currently available sensors, the sensor will|allow discriminating target CNTs from background aerosol particles.
