Vita-Ring: A finger ring for the automatic analysis and interpretation of blood pulse waves for an individual's vital energy estimation
Abstract
(German)
The purpose of the project is threefold: 1) Elaborate a clinical protocol to elicit physical and mental fatigue in 60 healthy subjects, 2) quantify a set of physiological parameters from the blood pulse wave to estimate the energy/fatigue level of these subjects on a relative basis individual by individual 3) develop a finger ring sensor that will enable to measure these parameters, transmit to a smart phone for processing and computation of a unique vital energy/fatigue meter.
