SPAC: Shock Proof Accelerometer for high performance in harsh environment

Abstract (German)

The goal of the project is to develp new high precision capacitive MEMS accelerometers dedicated for harsh environment, which will result in a new worldwide buisness field for navigation and drilling applications. This will be done through the development of wear resistant stoppers, located inside the accelerometer cavity, capable of absorbing high shock energy without generating particles and debris.
