Adenosine A2A receptor positive allosteric modulators (PAM) as a novel broadly applicable oral anti-inflammatory therapy
Abstract
(Deutsch)
||||||To discover first-in-class selective small molecule A2AR PAM as a novel oral anti-inflammatory therapy. Because it preserves the natural spatio-temporal control over A2AR engagement, an A2AR PAM would avoid side effects relating to systemic triggering of A2AR and present distinct advantages over straight agonists by selectively enhancing the well-validated anti-inflammatory effects of high adenosine concentration only within inflamed tissues|||||||
