This project aims at developing a compact high performance beam steering unit for high power lasers capable of deflecting a laser beam at static angles with a high positioning accuracy. This project is the continuation of the CTI project 15971.1 COMSTEER and aims at improve/develop the (i) position sensors accuracy (ii) control system (iii) long term stability and (iv) a reliable fabrication process of a MEMS scanner.
