Abstract

To meet challenges of Energiestategie 2050, the Swiss power grid must be modernized to enable secure and reliable power delivery; also the operation of the power grid must be optimized to increase the overall energy efficiency. In this project, new software and algorithms for advanced voltage control in distribution grids will be developed and implemented. The control algorithms will allow increasing the amount of renewables in the grid and enhance the grid energy efficiency.
