Innovative thermally-responsive osmotic agent for industrial waste heat recovery (Feasibility study)
Abstract
(German)
The feasibility study will lead to an innovative osmotic agent to accelerate industrialization of the low-temperature (below 150°C) osmotic heat engine (OHE). This thermo-responsive agent is a key element of the closed cycle pressure retarded osmosis (PRO) process, known as OHE, to produce clean energy from industrial waste heat. Intensive heat-generating industries such as cement, paper & pulp and petrochemical plants constitute the target market.// //
