Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a devastating neurodegenerative disease with increasing incidence due to an aging world population and an absence of disease-modifying therapies. Our objective is to develop a novel genetic mouse model to demonstrate efficacy of therapeutics (small molecules and vaccines) to prevent the progression of the Tau pathology in order to evaluate their therapeutic value for testing in AD patients.
