Abstract (Deutsch)	This follow-up project aims at optimizing existing small molecule lead series previously designed as potent and selective inverse agonists of the ghrelin receptor. The ultimate goal is to obtain preclinical drug candidates for the development of an innovative parenteral therapy of obesity linked with type 2 diabetes or other metabolic syndromes.
