The key contribution of this project is the development of an automated mobile picking robot for distribution centers. To this end, we will leverage Kaiser engineering's experience in designing robotic platforms, ASL's expertise in computer vision and Manor's insights into commercial requirements. The Swiss economy will benefit from job creation at the implementation partner and from increased competitiveness of its national retailers due to a decrease in costs for picking.
