Building integrated solar modules based on mild steel substrate
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
CIGS thin film solar modules on glass substrates have proven low cost and low CO2 emission per kWh electricity produced. Flexible and lightweight CIGS solar modules offer several advantages, especially for applications in buildings. This project will enable the use of low cost mild-steel as a substrate and as integral back support element for flexible CIGS solar modules to further reduce the overall cost for application in buildings. At the end of the project steel building elements integrated with CIGS modules will be ready for energy efficient buildings.
