The aim of this project is to investigate an innovative design of a tri-leaflet heart valve with nonthrombogenic|properties. Combining specific innovative aerodynamic design and optimal material choice, we will assure smooth blood flow, using both simulation and surface characterization of the leaflets deterioration. This study will enable the implementation partner to prove the compliance of the new design before starting clinical studies.
