High performance ceramic wire aligners are of commercial importance for biomedical applications. There is a need for improved strength and hence reliability of these wire aligners. With an increase in strength and reliability, the size of such ceramic wire aligners can be reduced to improve patient comfort. The goal of this project is to increase the strength of such wire aligners, reduce their dimensions and increase market share and sales with a new product range.
