Résumé des résultats (Abstract)

In the SKAN isolator systems, catalysts to decompose H2O2 play a crucial role. Therefore, we aim with the proposed project NANODETOX for the development of a new efficient, cost effective, nanostructured mixed mode catalyst containing metal and/or metaloxides supported on a stable inorganic carrier and in addition a water retainng component, alllowing efficient humidity control. The new catalystwill allow for fast H2O2 degradation covering the entire concentration range throughout the decomposition reaction. Catalytic cartridge units designed for the respective isolator system will improve the air handling process by becoming independent from the general facility air management, will significantly reduce energy and istallation costs.. and will give room for new and improved design concepts of SKAN isolator systems and therefor will led to trengthened position of SKAN in the international market.
