Abstract (German)

Running has grown enormously, now reaching 80 million Europeans. Run Up project aims at developing|new wearable shoe sensors and advanced foot strike analysis algorithm, to be integrated in a product for|experts in the field such as podiatrists, coaches and shoe retailers. By providing them a tool for fast,|objective and quantitative evaluation of running foot strike, Run Up will help finding appropriate footwear,|correct running technique, and ultimately prevent injuries.|
