Die Ferienregion Braunwald im Kanton Glarus positioniert sich als autofreie Familiendestination. Beim skizzierten Vorhaben handelt es sich um ein Teilprojekt des Projektes „Braunwald autofrei“. Das Teilprojekt bezweckt am Fallbeispiel Braunwald und in Abstimmung mit den anderen Modulen des Projektes einen auf die topographische Situation und die klimatischen Gegebenheiten abgestimmten ökologisch und ökonomisch nachhaltigen Fahrzeugmix für den Personen und Güterverkehr (inkl. Land- und Bauwirtschaft) vor Ort zu definieren sowie die notwendigen Schritte und Rahmenbedingungen für dessen Realisierung darzustellen.

Short description (English)

The touristic destination Braunwald in Canton Glarus is positioned as family-oriented and „car-free“. This sub-project is a module of the comprehensive project “Braunwald car-free”. The module aims at the definition of a suitable mix of means of transportation in line with the positioning of the destination and the technical challenges imposed by an alpine village. The goal is the implementation of a green and intelligent mobility along the touristic value chain (transportation of people and goods).
