This feasibility study is conducted by the Institute of Computational Physics (ZHAW) and the J. Wagner AG. It aims to define the potential of a consequential CTI project by proving that numerical simulation, in close combination with validating experimental efforts, can provide a ground-breaking contribution to understanding, and optimizing the electro-static field effects which are the basis of industrial coating processes. Powder coating technology will serve as example.
