Robust dynamic measurements in harsh industrial environments. MIP: Zumbach Electronics AG
Abstract
(German)
While most measurement schemes work well under lab conditions, they show significant problems when|used in harsh industrial environments, where the device under test is often moving, vibrating or even|jumping inside of the measurement device. The goal of this project is to use sound estimation theory to|frame and solve the above measurement problem as an estimation problem. Using this powerful|mathematical approach, it will be possible to explicitly use models for the disturbances and hence find|more robust results under harsh industrial conditions.
