Abstract

The interoperability, capacity and quality of Telecom and SatCom systems critically depend on phase noise performances. Traceability of the dedicated measuring equipment to internationally accepted standards is needed to determine the phase noise level with the required accuracy. This condition is not fully met today. The aim of this project is to develop a fully traceable phase noise calibration standard, tailored to the specific needs of the industrial partner Anapico.
