Abstract (German)

Oviva has developed a scalable technology for dieticians to counsel overweight and obese patients via a smartphone-app. Bern University of Applied Sciences is the only institution that trains and accredits dieticians for in medical questions in German-speaking Switzerland. Together we want to prove that coaching via a smartphone-app is effective in helping overweight/obese patients to change their lifestyle habits, loose weight and reduce comorbidities of their disease.
