Environmentally benign and renewable resources are urgently needed to ascertain the|future supply of energy. Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSCs) are a very promising low cost|option, but material challenges remain to produce large glass modules for integratation in|building architecture. This project aims to develop DSC components i.e commerically|attractive dyes and advanced ionic liquid electrolytes enhancing cell performance and|durability to increase market penetration.
