Abstract (German)	The goal of this project is to develop novel halogen free flame retardant additive which is suitable to manufacture high tenacity polyethylene terephthalate (PET) based fibers as well as flame retardant recycled PET masterbatch and fibers thereof. This project will thus enable us to produce fire safe PET fibers for technical and architectural purpose. Adding flame retardant functionality to recycled PET polymer will further enhance its economic value.
