Abstract (Deutsch)

Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) of vehicles is an urgent necessity for efficient management of road infrastructures. Improved accuracy and reliability of WIM for tolling or weight enforcement applications is to be achieved by exploitation of features from multiple sensor signals. Based on correlations of these  features with disturbing factors - such as vertical vehicle dynamics - an improved approach for multi-factorial weight identification is to be developed within this project.
