Abstract (Deutsch)

The cost efficient coating of external fixation pins for the safe treatment of trauma patients will be the key goal of the proposed project. TiN layers have been successfully applied as high performance coatings in the past and will be doped with metal ions to finally reduce biofilm formation on implants.
