Abstract

Namiki targets at the steeply growing market of green technologies with a new concept of Energy Harvesting Device. It is proposed to develop a modular, hybrid, off-the-shelf platform solution based on electromagnetic (EM) and piezoelectric energy converters capable to coherently collect energy from different sources. The EM- and piezo-converters will consist of the EM-generators recently developed by Namiki and off-the-shelf multilayer piezoelectric components, respectively.
