Mobile apps installed on smartphones represent strong signals about users' characteristics. These signals can be mapped to user demographics and interests, enabling players in telco and ad-tech industries to better understand mobile users. Once scientific and tech challenges are addressed with the help of ETHZ, 42matters will gain a strategic innovation and new business opportunities. Swisscom signed a Vertragsdokument to express its interests in the results of this project.
