TIMCAL is a successful, globally operating company, based in Bodio, Ticino, that produces graphite. Having been dealing with innovation in an intuitive way so far, its management aims now at applying a more systematic approach. In this feasibility study we develop and test such a new approach at interdisciplinary collaboration, that we apply at TIMCAL to improve its innovation processes. To promote this approach beyond TIMCAL, we write a guidebook for SME.
