Compact and flexible system for total knee replacement surgery

Abstract (German)

n the context of a total knee replacement surgery, the goal of this project is to combine the advantages of patient matched devices and computer assisted surgery. It keep the simplicity of patient matched devices to directly register the patients anatomy and add the flexibility of computer assisted surgery to allow the surgeon to adjust and fine-tune the implant position during surgery, to ensure proper ligament balancing.
