This project aims to develop a new modulation and coding scheme for power line communications (PLC) in smart home applications. The digitalSTROM transformer-less small-size, low-power and low-cost solution is unique in PLC applications and the novel scheme resulting from this project will deliver a significantly increase (2 to 4 times) in data rate, being a step forward in the technology evolution of digitalSTROM products.
