Abstract (Deutsch)

We aim to devise a computer and experimental genomic platform to characterize therapeutic-producing cells, to design improved lines for higher quality and safer therapeutic agents and to lower development costs. Our scientific aims are: i) to provide a high throughput DNA sequencing and bioinformatics platform to detect potential adventitious agents, ii) to develop more efficient genome edition procedures, so as to remove expressed viral remnants from the CHO cell genome.
