Device to reliably detect ovulation: MIP: AVA AG

Abstract (German)

The objective of the project is to develop an elegant device that is able to precisely recognize the fertile window during the menstrual cycle of women. A pre-study done by EMPA as well as know-how by CSEM, USZ and experienced entrepreneurs show promising ways to do this. Existing hardware will be adapted to do a clinical test and work out suitable algorithms. Based on the project, there is an attractive window of opportunity to create dozens of jobs in context with a new method of birth control.
