Abstract (Deutsch)

SynPath will contribute a synthetic biology workflow for the production of novel generation of commercially relevant biofuels matching the performance of existing fuels, while overcoming their limitations in respect to soot and NOX formation. The designed biosynthetic pathways will be implemented into the two bacterial chassis E. coli and P. putida. SynPath will benefit to the biotech industry in the diversification of product portfolio, process and cost efficiency.
