Type 3 Technologies - Bacteria as a versatile tool for single protein delivery into eukaryotic cells
Abstract
(German)
This feasibility project introduces a bacteria-based tool that allows to translocate eukaryotic proteins into various eukaryotic cells using an effector-less Yersinia enterocolitica strain. The presented procedure not only enables time-controlled, but also fast and efficient single protein delivery that can be applied in vivo. To develop the technology further and to generate relevant IP allowing to found a company, the project team proposes to achieve several key goals.
